The read is how your appointment starts — not a separate visit, and not a sales pitch. A set of questions about your skin and your history, then a meter that measures the oil, elasticity and water in your skin. Your practitioner reads the results, tells you what she sees, and which treatment fits it. You leave knowing what your skin needs, what it doesn't, and what to do next.
The barrier is your skin's outer layer. Stripped, it stings and dries out — and that changes every product choice that follows.
Dehydrated skin mimics half a dozen other problems. On the meter it reads differently than dryness — and treats differently.
Reactivity history, current redness, what your skin tolerated last time. This is what keeps a treatment from overreaching.

What Bella Reina isn't
It isn't a Botox clinic, and it isn't a spa built around relaxation alone. Both exist nearby and both do their thing well. It just isn't ours. If injectables are what you want, you'll get a straight answer and a name to call.

A skin practice. We look first, explain what we see, then treat. Safe for skin in cancer care. And you can ask for the same esthetician every visit — she'll remember your skin and what worked last time. We take skin seriously, and ourselves much less so.
What actually happens before you're treated.
Your first visit starts at the front desk — a warm welcome, a cup of tea, a warm neck wrap. Then a short chat: your sun history, past treatments, anything medical we should know. Then the Skin Read: a meter reading of the oil, elasticity and water in your skin. Your practitioner explains what she sees and why it points to one treatment over another, before anything begins. And if something is outside what we treat, we say so instead of selling you something that won't help.
