A custom facial starts before you reach the treatment table. First, we look at your skin under proper light.
Then we ask what has changed lately: sun, new products, sleep, stress, or any health history that touches the skin. That read decides which cleansers, exfoliants, and actives we use, and in what order.
There is no single fixed protocol. If your skin needs extraction, we do it by hand.
We go only as deep as your skin can safely take that day. The facial ends with a mask that supports your skin barrier, plus a finishing serum.
Both are chosen for what your skin needs to hold onto — not as a default upsell.
Who this suits
Most first-time clients start here. It is also where we decide what comes next.
Sometimes a more specific treatment — HydraFacial, microneedling, or a medical-grade facial — will serve a concern better than a repeat of this one. If so, we say it.
This facial suits skin that is dehydrated, congested, dull, or stressed by the season. It is also the treatment we adjust most often mid-visit, when the skin read turns up something you didn't mention.
What changes between visits
The facial comes from a skin read, not a fixed menu item. So two visits three months apart can look quite different.
After a summer of sun, we may focus on hydration. Heading into a drier season, we may work on texture and buildup instead.
We keep notes across visits. You never have to re-explain your skin history — your record travels with you.
The menu runs from oxygen and CO2-mask work to K-Skin facials. All of it sits on the same assessment-first standard.

How is a custom facial different from a standard spa facial?
A standard facial follows one fixed protocol, no matter whose skin is on the table. A custom facial at Bella Reina starts with a close look under proper light. The cleansers, exfoliants, and actives all come from that read — not a set menu.
Do I need to know which facial to book?
No. Book the custom facial, and we choose the protocol during your skin read. If your skin needs something more specific — HydraFacial, microneedling — we will tell you. Then you decide from there.
Is there any downtime after a custom facial?
None. You can go straight back to work, an event, or the beach with sun protection. Your skin may look a little flushed for an hour or two. It depends on how the read shaped the treatment.
Can this be done as part of an oncology-safe protocol?
Yes. Every esthetician on staff trains in oncology-safe protocol. We also stock formulas without emulsifiers, made for fragile or in-treatment skin — just ask. Mention your history at intake so the skin read accounts for it.
How often should I book a custom facial?
Most clients return every four to six weeks. That matches the skin's natural renewal cycle. If your skin would do better on a different interval, we will say so at your visit.
