Nobody should feel unsure walking in.
A spa can feel intimidating if you have never been, or cold if you have been to the wrong one. Here is exactly what happens, so none of it is a surprise.

Arrive 10 to 15 minutes early
There is a client questionnaire to fill in, and it matters — it is what the Skin Read is built on. Come early enough to do it properly, have a cup of tea, and stop being in a hurry.
If you are having nails, pick your color first
There are over 200 shades of Dazzle Dry. Choosing takes longer than people expect. Do it while the tea is still hot rather than while your nail tech waits.
You will be shown where to put your things
Somewhere to hang clothes, and a jewelry box — though the honest advice is to leave jewelry at home. The room is set up before you arrive; it is prepared for you specifically.
Whatever leaves you comfortable
For a facial, most people keep their pants on and remove a top and bra, so the neck, shoulders and arms can be worked on. For a body treatment, undress fully — the treatment cannot do its job through clothing. There is no right answer beyond your own comfort.
The treatment is chosen after we look at your skin
Not before. What your skin can tolerate, what it is short of, and what a device can safely do that a cream cannot. If what you booked is not what your skin needs, you will be told.
Each of the six is assessed at the depth it actually lives at — which is why a barrier problem and a pigment problem never get the same protocol.
