A medical-grade facial uses higher-strength actives. That means stronger acids and more potent brightening or resurfacing ingredients.
The exfoliation goes deeper than a standard facial's formula allows. Because these actives work harder, the Skin Read beforehand matters more than usual.

Who this suits
This facial suits pigmentation, sun damage, or texture concerns that have stopped responding to gentler care. If a standard facial is not making real progress, this is the step up.
It is not for skin in active cancer treatment. It is also not for pregnancy, or for a reactive condition a stronger active would aggravate.
And it is rarely a first-visit choice for someone new to professional skincare. Many clients start with a standard facial first.
That lets us gauge tolerance before stepping up to this depth.
How long pigment takes to move
One visit brightens and smooths. Brown spots are slower: pigment sits deeper than a single treatment reaches, and it fades across a run of visits with daily sun protection doing half the work.
We will not put a session count on your face before we have seen it. Ask at your read and you get a straight answer.
Mild redness or light flaking is possible for up to a day afterward, so leave room before anything that matters.
Where the regenerative work sits
Medical-grade covers two different intentions. One is resurfacing — TCA and other chemical peels, and the buffered peel inside a HydraFacial, taking the damaged surface away so fresher skin comes up behind it.

How is a medical grade facial different from a custom facial?
It uses higher-strength actives and deeper exfoliation than a standard facial's formula allows. It is a stronger treatment for skin we have read as ready for that depth. It is not a routine maintenance visit.
Will this facial cause any peeling afterward?
Mild redness or light flaking is possible for up to about 24 hours. It depends on the actives chosen. Not every client gets it. We will tell you what to expect from the formula picked for your skin.
Can I book this while I'm in cancer treatment?
Not without clearance. The stronger actives here are not right for skin in active cancer treatment. Ask about the oncology facial line instead — it is built for exactly that situation.
Do I need to have had a facial here before booking this one?
Not necessarily. But many first-time clients start with a standard custom facial. That shows us how your skin handles actives before we step up to medical-grade strength.
Is this safe during pregnancy?
Some actives in these formulas are not recommended in pregnancy. Say so at intake and ask for the pregnancy-safe version. We build the treatment around what is allowed and still get somewhere useful.
