What waxing leaves you with

Common questions
What's the difference between hard wax and soft wax?
Hard wax sets on its own and lifts off without a strip. That makes it gentler on sensitive spots like the face and bikini line. Soft wax comes off with a muslin strip and moves faster over larger areas like legs.
Is waxing safe on sensitive or reactive skin?
Often yes, with the right wax and technique. But recent sun, retinoid use, or certain skin conditions can mean we adjust or postpone. A practitioner asks before starting, not after.
How long does my hair need to be?
About a quarter inch — roughly two weeks of growth after shaving. Shorter than that and the wax has nothing to grip, so you'd leave with patches still there.
Can I get facial waxing the same day as a facial?
Sometimes, but order and timing matter. Waxing before certain facials can irritate freshly exfoliated skin. Ask when you book, so the visit runs in the right order.
Is waxing appropriate during cancer treatment?
It depends on your treatment and how your skin is doing now. Some medications leave skin too reactive to wax. Ask when you book, so a practitioner can check first.
