MICROCURRENT FACIAL

The muscle gets worked, not just the surface.

Low-level current works facial muscle directly — the way a trainer works muscle anywhere else on the body. Visible lift, no downtime.

What actually happens

A handheld device sends a low-level electrical current through two probes. We move them across your face in specific patterns.

The patterns target the facial muscles directly, not just the skin's surface. The current sits well below anything you'd feel as a shock.

Most clients notice a faint tingle. Some taste a slight metallic note when a probe passes near the tongue.

It works the way electrical stimulation trains muscle anywhere else on the body: repeated sessions improve tone and firmness in the muscles it targets.

Who this suits

Microcurrent suits clients focused on muscle tone and jawline definition, rather than surface texture. Many book it before an event.

The lifted look is strongest right after treatment, and it builds with repeated sessions over weeks. It is not done during pregnancy.

It is also not done for anyone with a pacemaker or another implanted electrical device, since the current passes through facial tissue.

What one session versus a series looks like

One session gives a visible but temporary lift. It shows most in the hours right after treatment.

The longer-lasting gain — a real improvement in muscle tone — builds over a series. Sessions start close together.

Then they spread out for maintenance once the first series is done. We will map that schedule to your goals at the first visit.

Arrive hydrated — current travels better through hydrated tissue, and we'll ask about your water before we start.

Common questions

Does microcurrent hurt?

No. The current is well below the level you'd feel as a shock. Most clients describe a faint tingle. Some notice a slight metallic taste when a probe passes near the tongue during the jaw pass.

How long does the lifted look last after one session?

The most visible lift comes right after treatment. It fades over the next day or two. A longer-lasting change in muscle tone builds with a series of sessions, not one visit.

Can I get microcurrent if I have a pacemaker?

No. Microcurrent is not done for anyone with a pacemaker or other implanted electrical device. The current passes through facial tissue. Tell us at intake, and we will suggest an alternative.

Is microcurrent safe during pregnancy?

No — it is not done during pregnancy. Mention it at intake, and we will suggest a different treatment for that visit.

How often should I book microcurrent for the best result?

An initial series, booked close together, builds the strongest gain in tone. After that, you shift to less frequent maintenance visits. We will lay out a schedule from your goals at your first appointment.
