The Detox Slimming Wrap
That is the wrap on the spa menu, at $135. Infrared is a low, radiant heat — closer to sunlight through a window than to a steam room.
It warms the skin rather than the room, which is what makes the time under a wrap comfortable rather than something to sit through. The wrap itself is snug, and that pressure is doing half the work.
Ask for it by name when you book. The effect is on how skin looks and feels, not on fat or toxins.
How it's assessed before booking
A practitioner reviews your skin and general health history before any wrap. Compression and certain active ingredients don't suit every circulatory or skin condition.
That review is standard here, not an add-on. It's the same look-first approach we take before every treatment on the menu.
Common questions
Should I book it the day of my event, or the week ahead?
The day of, or the evening before. The change shows as soon as the wrap comes off and fades from there, so put it as close to the event as your schedule allows. Booking it a week out wastes most of what you're paying for.
Will a slimming wrap help me lose weight?
No. It moves fluid that sits under the skin, so contour and firmness change for a window of time. Fat doesn't. Inches measured right after a wrap come back. What you get is how your skin looks and feels that day, which is a real thing to buy — just not that one.
What does 'detox' mean here?
Moving surface fluid, and changing how skin feels. Nothing medical or clinical. No topical treatment detoxifies a body, and we would rather define the word than trade on it.
Is it hot, and is the wrap tight?
Warm, not hot — infrared heat sits closer to sunlight through a window than to a sauna. The wrap is snug on purpose, because the pressure is part of the treatment. Say so at any point if it's more than you want and your practitioner will loosen it.
Is a body wrap safe during cancer treatment?
It depends on your treatment history and how your skin is doing now. Ask when you book, so a practitioner can review first. Some active ingredients and compression levels don't suit every case.
